Jeremy Corbyn will introduce Run The Jewels at Glastonbury 2017

British Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn will be making an appearance at this year’s Glastonbury Festival, where he will introduce American hip hop super group Run The Jewels. The duo, who have previously voiced their support for Corbyn, were similarly introduced by a recorded video of Bernie Sanders at Coachella 2016.

In a recent interview with the Guardian, Glastonbury founder Michael Eavis considered Corbyn as “the hero of the hour,” adding that he’s “…got something new and precious, and people are excited about it.” While Corbyn was scheduled to appear at last year’s Glastonbury Festival, the British Member of Parliament cancelled his appearance following the United Kingdom’s withdrawal from the European Union.

Jeremy Corbyn will be addressing Glastonbury festival goers on Saturday June 24, prior to RTJ’s 4:15 pm set on the Pyramid stage.
